What you should and shouldn’t dry clean

Sometimes we may get into the habit of buying a garment and just chucking it in the wash without considering the care instructions. Here’s a list of fabrics that should be dry cleaned rather than machine washed:

• Silk
• Acetate
• Velvet
• Wool

The following items can be machine washed (With care)

• Cotton
• Linen
• Cashmere
• Polyester
• Acrylic
• Nylon

Our best advice to you is that if you do want to machine wash something, do so in a cold cycle with a low spin speed. Hang your items up on a coat hanger to air dry and hold it’s shape.
